Calling all creatives! Konbini is a shopping and fashion event that strives to emulate the wonder of stepping into a Konbini, a Japanese convenience store, and being greeted by colourful packaging and delicious wafts of food! We carefully curate the most unique and innovative creators out there, running a Japanese-themed small business market concurrent to fun activities and great music.
At the centre of this bustling community is a safe space for creative expression, and Konbini strongly believes in providing visibility and platforming our creators who are key to inspiring our youths! We commission artists, provide paid social media ads, give extensive photography coverage, organize event activities and networking opportunities, and most importantly, credit every talent involved! If you see yourself a part of this, do apply for a booth and join us! <3

In collaboration with weekly vintage market @resurrack, we held our first ever J-fashion / alt fashion runway on the evening of 27th September 2025, right in the vibrant streets of Bugis! Featuring 22 models from our lovely and fashionable community who rocked outfits from their very own wardrobes, showcasing their fave substyles like ouji, lolita, decora and gyaru — it was a very joyful celebration of creativity and diversity. We hope this encouraged you as a community to keep expressing yourselves through fashion and keep being you!

Here's to a weekend of J-culture, J-fashion and J-music — shop curated J-fashion, upcycled clothing, handmade accessories, heisei retro trinkets and even vintage J-pop CDs! Get some cute nails done, have your caricature drawn, and get your picture taken by our photographers — make sure to come all dressed up in your fave J-fash or alt fashion styles!
Come by at 7pm on the 27th, Saturday to celebrate our very first J-fashion Runway! Featuring >20 participants showcasing their favourite subcultures, it's gonna be a feast for the eyes! Come support our local J-fash community <3
